This February update focuses on smarter recommendation categorization, interface polish, and reliability fixes to keep your FinOps workflows running smoothly.
Here is what's new in Stable.
1. Updated Recommendation Difficulty Levels
We have refined how recommendations are categorized to better reflect the effort and expertise required.
EC2 Modernize Instances — now "Advanced": The EC2 instance modernization recommendation has been reclassified from Medium to Advanced. This change better reflects the planning, testing, and expertise required to safely migrate instance types in production environments.
2. Improved Selection Criteria — S3 Intelligent Tiering
The selection criteria for the S3 Intelligent Tiering recommendation have been updated to reduce false positives and ensure suggestions are more relevant to your actual usage patterns.
3. Inactive Tenant Experience
When your account is part of a tenant that is currently inactive, Stable now displays a clear landing page instead of a blank or broken view — making it immediately obvious that the tenant is pending activation.
4. Usability & Stability
We continue to polish the everyday experience to keep your workflow smooth.
"Open in AWS" region fix: Links that open resources directly in the AWS Console now correctly use the resource's actual region instead of defaulting to us-east-1.
Loading animation: Refreshed loading animation for a smoother experience across the platform.
Table columns: Columns with undefined values are now consistently sorted last in tables, keeping meaningful data front and centre.
