What is Stable?

How Stable optimizes AWS costs through recommendations, detailed resource-level analysis, and proactive alerts to maximize your cloud

Stable is a comprehensive SaaS solution designed to optimize and manage your AWS infrastructure costs. Developed by Unicorne, Stable provides intelligent insights and actionable recommendations to help you reduce AWS cloud spending without compromising performance or reliability.

Core Features

1. Cost Optimization Recommendations

Stable continuously monitors your AWS environment to identify cost-saving opportunities with clear ROI metrics. Our platform analyzes your infrastructure at a deeper level than traditional tools.

Each recommendation is categorized by implementation difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard) and displays potential savings, helping you prioritize your optimization efforts effectively.

2. Cost Exploration

Unlike standard AWS cost management tools that only show service-level spending, Stable breaks down costs to the resource level, providing granular visibility into:

  • Per-resource expenditure

  • Operation-specific costs (reads, writes, storage)

  • Trend analysis to identify spending patterns

This detailed view connects directly to our optimization recommendations, creating a seamless path from insight to action. The Resource Explorer provides a comprehensive inventory of all your AWS resources with detailed cost data. Filter and sort by region, service, account, and more. Advanced features include date range filtering with “First Seen On”, CPU/Memory/Architecture details, and lazy loading for fast navigation even with large datasets.

3. Budget

Define monthly budgets on your AWS accounts and track your consumption against them in real time. Each account is assigned a clear status (Over-Budget, At Risk, On track, Underspending, or No budget), and a 6-month trend helps you set the right limit.

When an account drifts off track, Stable doesn't just tell you that it happened — it tells you why. The resources and services with the largest month-over-month changes are surfaced at the top of the list, so you can immediately pinpoint what is driving the variance and take action. Automatic alerts notify you as soon as your forecasted or actual spend exceeds the configured budget, leaving plenty of time to react before the end of the billing cycle.

4. Commitment Manager (Beta)

The Commitment Manager gives you a centralized view of all your Reserved Instances and Savings Plans, including Database Savings Plans. Track your financial lock-ins, monitor commitment due dates, and receive email notifications before they expire to help you plan renewals and avoid coverage gaps.

5. Global Search (Cmd+K / Ctrl+K)

Navigate the entire platform using your keyboard. Instantly jump to specific resources, views, or settings without leaving your current workflow.

Why Choose Stable?

  • Deep infrastructure insights beyond what AWS native tools provide

  • Resource-level analysis instead of high-level service summaries

  • Continuous monitoring rather than monthly reviews

  • Actionable recommendations with clear implementation paths

  • Serverless and modern architecture expertise not found in traditional cost management tools
